practice areas
Agueros Law, PLLC. practices in several specialized fields. Below is a brief overview of each practice area.
water
We have over a decade of experience in water well drilling, water rights acquisition, and water system development and compliance. Through this experience, we assist public water systems, homeowners, industrial, and recreational users in acquiring and completing water rights. Our representation includes water transfers, exchanges, contracts, beneficial use plans, and agency compliance. Our specialized experience helps simplify various agency matters involving the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, Idaho Department of Water Resources, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Idaho Department of Lands.
regulated utilities
Water and wastewater corporations provide services that affect public health and safety. From rural HOAs to some of Idaho’s premier golf courses, we serve clients in ensuring conformity with Idaho Administrative Procedures Act regulations and Idaho Department of Environmental Quality guidance. We are uniquely skilled in shepherding engineering efforts, grant writing, state reporting, and asset planning and management for large and small utility providers. We pride ourselves on a deep knowledge derived from operating and managing regulated utility corporations.
construction law
Growing up in and practicing for a specialty construction company, Braden Agueros has over a decade of knowledge in construction logistics, permitting, change orders, scope disputes, payment issues, and engineering compliance. That experience includes drafting and reviewing prime and subcontracts, and mechanic lien recording. We leverage this knowledge to ensure timely and satisfactory projects.
